A unique event for those who study, teach or simply have a passion for languages
Welcome to Festival delle Lingue!
The third edition will take place in Sarzana (Italy) from 26th September to 1st October 2010.
This year's edition is dedicated to minor languages and, in particular, to Catalan: spoken by over 9 million people, it was prohibited during the years of Franco's dictatorship and re-instated in 1979.
Language teachers days: discussing hot topics relating to teaching a foreign language
Conferences, seminars, debates and workshops are among the events dedicated to language teachers. If you wish to take part in any of the events, please send your registration form and do not forget to state which school you work for. Alternatively, if you are a freelance teacher, please state your company name. The event's programme will be available shortly.
2010 edition opens to schools
The third edition of Festival delle Lingue has in store a variety of events for primary and secondary school pupils with the objective of promoting a positive approach to learning a foreign language and interaction with other European students. Among the topics of this year's edition citizenship and work opportunities in Europe for those who speak foreign languages.
All the events of Festival delle Lingue are free. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis, book your place to avoid disappointment.
